Africa's renewable capacity grew ~16% in a single year to over 82 GW, yet still represents under 2% of global additions (IRENA, 2026) — an extraordinary runway for clean-energy investment.

Responsible resource development for shared prosperity. Africa holds roughly two-thirds of the world's cobalt, 30% of its lithium and manganese, and 95% of its chromium (AfDB) — the critical minerals powering the global energy transition.
Technology & Digital Transformation
Powering the digital economy. Artificial intelligence, data centers, FinTech, cybersecurity, and blockchain. Africa's digital economy already contributes over $240 billion a year (GSMA, 2026) and is projected to reach $712 billion by 2050 (Google–IFC).
